We have been using an Excel spreadsheet for our KPMT (timesheet) for years to record all day to day activities. However, recently HR try to push for online system. Here how they implement it.
List of HR emails to employees
Email 1:
To all employees, please note that instead of using the existing Excel spreadsheet for our KPMT (timesheet), we will use new online system."
Email 2, a few hours later:
"Correction, the link for online KMPT server in previous email was incorrent the correct link is..."
Email 3, early of the month:
"To all employees, the new online KPMT is experiencing some difficulties, please hold off on your submissions until we fix the problem."
Email 4, the next day:
To clarify, for the moment employees can use the new system for view only until we fix the security bug"
Email 5, the day after:
"To all employees, the online KPMT is operational again. However don't click on report button, because it will slowdown the system"
Email 6, two later:
"To all employees, some of you have been putting information incorrectly, a reminder that the instructions are posted."
Email 7, end of the month:
"To all employees, due to difficulties with the new online timesheet, we request that you do not input your information directly. Instead, we will sent you an Excel file to be fill up."
Lastly, email from employee to HR.
"Dear HR, please stop bothering us all until you have this thing sorted out once and for all."
